Strawberry Milk

A sweet and simple recipe that will take you back to those care-free summer days. Strawberry Milk is the perfect way to naturally add unique flavours to your favourite fairlife® ultrafiltered Milk.

Preparation

1. To a small saucepan add strawberries, honey and water. Set over high heat until boiling. Once boiling, reduce to a simmer and use a fork or potato masher to mash berries. Simmer 10-15 minutes until reduced and slightly thickened.

2. Strain strawberries through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl, pressing on solids with a spoon or rubber spatula to extract liquid. Cover and refrigerate syrup for up to 1 week. Discard strawberry solids and seeds, or use them in a smoothie, cake batter, or as a jam on buttered toast for a boost of flavour.

3. Whenever desired, stir 6-7 tablespoons of chilled strawberry syrup in a glass with 2 cups of cold, fairlife® ultrafiltered Milk (skim or 2%) and enjoy!
